On Saturday 19 November Bicheno will hold its annual one-day Festival celebrating food and wine of the East Coast Region of Tasmania. It offers a day of exciting and unique events designed to bring you up close and personal with leading wine makers, chefs, food producers and gourmet trailblazers. Included in the admission price will also be an opportunity to see the exciting work of a number of East Coast artists and artisans in the adjacent School Hall.

Several restaurants are located in close proximity to Tidelines of Bicheno. The Sea Life Centre serves seafood and steaks. This is just down the road from Tidelines. You can see the penguins from the restaurant most nights. Ph 6375 1121.

Freycinet Winery is south of Bicheno, overlooking the spectacular Freycinet National Park. Wines include cabernet sauvignon, merlot, pinot noir, riesling and chardonnay.

Spring Vale Winery is situated at Cranbrook, south of Bicheno. Grape varieties grown are cool-climate pinot noir, chardonnay, gewürztraminer and pinot gris.

The Milton Vineyard is situated near Cranbrook on the Tasman Highway south of Bicheno and is open every day for tastings and cellar door sales.
